Kevin Neal, MD
Dr. Kevin Neal is a dual-board certified Anesthesiologist and Pain Management physician whose passion is helping his patient's pursue the lives they want to live. Dr. Neal's education started at the University of Florida where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He went on to receive his Medical Doctorate from Wake Forest University School of Medicine and after graduating at the top of his class, Dr. Neal completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Wake Forest, graduating with academic distinction. Dr. Neal pursued further specialization with a fellowship in pain management at the distinguished Carolina Pain Institute and Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
After training, Dr. Neal served as an Assistant Professor at University of Texas Southwestern, one of the largest medical centers in the nation. He was Associate Program Director of the pain management fellowship and helped establish several new therapeutic pain options for patients in the Dallas metroplex. Dr. Neal has authored multiple peer reviewed publications as well as a book chapter on pain management procedures.
Though Dr. Neal is an avid golfer, it is something he discovered later in life. After two shoulder surgeries forced him to retire from other sports, golf's endless pursuit captured his imagination. Having to build a swing around a prior injury engaged both his athletic and academic sides, a unique opportunity afforded by the game of golf. What began as an interest became a passion and drive to help other golfers continue to play despite injury or prior health issue.
With this interest, Dr. Neal pursued additional training and completed a Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 certification. He combines this TPI training with his medical expertise in anatomy and physiology to create a unique, extensive and personalized treatment plan to help you play pain-free and prolong your golf career.
In his spare time, Dr. Neal loves spending time with his wife and daughter in beautiful northern Arizona. Dr. Neal remains a practicing anesthesiologist and is available for Telehealth or in-person consultation and looks forward to helping you achieve your long-term goals.

Golf Injury Prevention
Dr Neal separates up his evaluation and care into three distinct section, which overlap similar to a Venn diagram. Though seemingly simplistic, by dividing it this way he is able to better characterize and isolate the interventions necessary to improve each part of your life, including your golf game. Dr. Neal provides in-depth evaluations and plans, focused around the individual needs and history of the each golfer. No two bodies, swings or lifestyles are alike and we believe that taking the time to create a gofl health plan specifically designed for you is key to long-term success.
